3D TicTacToe for GEOS by Marc F. Brouillette (Dated Oct. 28, 1990) - This looks like a neat version of an old classic that can be played with two people, or against the computer.  The game seems to run fine, but I couldn't figure out how to place my X or O.  If you have any insight, please drop a line using the Contact Us link in the banner.

Cluster Wars v1.1 by F.G. Kostella (Released 1988) - This is a space themed strategy game where humans are pitted agains MECHS.  The object of the game is to conquer all the planets occupied by MECHS.  Full instructions and back story are included in the game.

The attached zip has 5 .d81 images containing GEOS games that accompany my June 2026 Gazette GEOS Column.

It does not include BSW’s 2 Blackjack versions, the six RUN GEOS Disk games, the dev copy of geoChess, or the two versions of Circe on Storm Systems Disk 1 since I haven’t been able to verify if Joe ever released these to the Public Domain.

Geo-Tac-Toe v2.1 by Ed Pflager (Dated 2/19/1990) is a version of the classic Tic-Tac-Toe game for GEOS on the Commodore 64.

GeoChess v1.2 by Scott Hutter (Released 11/26/2023) - A new version of this classic has been released to fix a few bugs that let bishops, rooks and queen jump over pieces... so now it's going to be even harder for me to beat.

GeoChess v1.3 by Scott Hutter (Released 12/05/2023)

Fixes:

• 128 mode 80 column screen is working now.

• C64 doesnt display 40/80 menu
• Switching 40/80 in 128 mode works properly

geoGammon v1.1 by Douglas S. Curtis (Dated February 8th, 1990) was released by Compute!s Gazette publication.  geoGammon is based on the classic board game Backgammon.

GeoMille v1.0 by Dale D. Lutes (Released 4/28/1996) is a one player vs. computer card game based on the original French Mille Bornes game.  The basic idea is you have to travel 1000 miles while obeying various traffic laws.  Full documentation is on the disk and help is built into the program.  It's actually quite a fun game to play.

Lutes (Released 7/9/1996) is a one player vs. computer card game based on the original French Mille Bornes game.  The basic idea is you have to travel 1000 miles while obeying various traffic laws.  Full documentation is on the disk and help is built into the program.  It's actually quite a fun game to play.

geoMimic v1.0 by Sean Huxter (February 13th, 1990) - Remember the game called Simon Says?  Well this is exactly that game but as a computer program for GEOS on the Commodore 64.

GEOS 128 MahJong VDC by Irv Cobb (VDC Upgrade by J. Robbins) is a game for the Commodore 128, specifically for the 80 column mode of GEOS 128.  I believe you need the extra 64k of video memory in your 128 to run this, at least I had to configure VICE that way to get it to run.

The object of the game is to remove all the tiles from the board as quickly as possible by matching up tiles that aren't blocked in on all four sides.

GEOS Blackjack v1.0 by Clayton Jung (Released 10/9/1986) - This is your straight forward traditional Blackjack card game.

GEOS Mahjong v1.0 by Irv Cobb with additional credit to Richard Smith - This is a type of puzzle game for GEOS on the Commodore 64.  The object is to remove all the tiles from the board as quick as you can by matching up pairs of tiles that aren't blocked on all sides by other tiles.

geoWar v1.0 by Lysle E Shields III (August 20th, 1988) is a turn based strategy game of world domination for the Commodore 64 and GEOS operating system.  The game is based on the board game RISK! The standard rules follow RISK! to the T, but you can also change them.  The game is very solid and fun to play with up to 6 players of which a computer can play any of them, or you can just leave some of the players as neutral territory.

Mind v1.0 by Sean Huxter (February 28th, 1991) - Mind is a guessing game for the Commodore 64 operating system GEOS.  The game is based off the old board game called Mastermind where you had some colored pegs that you put in a row to hopefully match the hidden row at the top of the board.  There are full docs included, so I'm sure you'll find a better description there.

ScoreUP v1.0 by Dale D. Lutes (January 31st, 1997) is a puzzle game for GEOS where the objective is to advance the pieces to cover the highest scoring spaces on the board.  Full instructions are built into the game.

Shoot Out! for GEOS by Wayne Dempsey (Released 2/14/1989) - Shoot Out! is an action game similar to the arcade game Logan's Alley in which you have to shoot the bad guys before they shoot you, while not shooting the inncocent bystanders.  There is some really good music in this game.

This program was found on issue 10 of "Disk O' Quarter" put out by the Commodore Users of Wichita, but first appeared on the Run Magazine GEOS Power Pak II.

Skeet v1.6 for GEOS (Compute! 1988) - Simple desk accessory game for GEOS where you shoot clay pigeons.
