Written by Stephen Hatfield, January 28th, 1988 - This nice 40/80 column utility will dynamically create a menu from programs on the disk. It also has the ability to print out the listing.

Automenu 128-Ramlink is a menu program designed for the Commodore 128 and the CMD Ramlink and only works in 80 column mode.  There are some docs included in the archive.

C128 AutoMenu by D. Darus and L.Wallace for the Commodore 128 (40 Columns) is a neat disk menu program that can be combined with C128 AutoDisk Maker to have a floppy that boots to a menu of all your programs just by turning on the computer.

Directory Master is a disk menu program, used to simplify loading of disk files. It displays what computer the program will run on, the screen format, and allow the user to read the docs if available, in a menu format. Docs are on disk.

EZ Loader v2.60 by David Schmoll (Released April 25th, 1994) is probably one of the nicest menu systems I have seen for the Commodore 64 /128.  Although this version isn't specifically for the Commodore 128 becasue it will also work on the C64, I wanted to add it to the C128 section seperately.  Anyway, this program has tons of features and supports all kinds of devices including CMD hard drives, floppy drives and more.  The documentation on the diskis very thurough and should answer any questions the built-in help doesn't.

Released by Frank D. Mapp on January 1st,1989. Menu Master 128 is a professional, powerful and flexible menu creator for the C128. Menu Master 128 is a disk utility that will let you create very professional menus for all of your disks. This is an 80 Column program. Program notes are on the disk.

Preboot v1.4 by Brian Green (2016-2017) of the Particles BBS fame (http://www.particles.org) - This is a really cool boot loader for the Commodore 128 that works in conjunction with a CMD HD (or clone) and / or a RAMLink.  With this utility, you can choose which partition you boot from.  Here are some words from the author himself:

Preboot (currently at version 1.4) is an auto-boot menuing system I’ve created for the Commodore 128 in 80-column mode out of necessity. I own a CMD-HD (and clones) and when I turn on the 128, it boots whatever my default partition is – normally Wheels 128, or GEOS, or something else. If I don’t feel like booting into one of those systems, I have to RUN/STOP-RESTORE it before it boots too far. This is where the name Preboot comes in.

RetroLoader v0.5 by Pastbytes (released August, 2021) - Very cool idea / program.  Following is the description by the author:

RetroLoader is a browser for Commodore 128 capable of loading and running Commodore 64 programs directly from 128 mode. At the moment it only supports .prg file loading and directory browsing, and includes JiffyDOS compatible fast loading to speed up loading in SD2IEC. If the drive is a 1541 without JiffyDOS, the program will not detect the drive and will give the option to disable JiffySoft before retrying to read the directory.
