zip2 geoSpell v1.0

GeoSpell v1.0 by J.E. Sears (July 1996) - over a year ago, I posted a GEOS program I called geoSpeller which seemed like a nice spelling program that acted sort of like flash cards.  Well, I wasn't able to use the program because what I had found didn't include any word lists and I didn't know how to create the lists.  Fast forward to a few days ago, and guess who came to the rescure? Yup, Bruce Thomas!  Bruce also found this missing list of words intriguing and made a few attempts at creating the lists, even writing a program in dreaded geoBASIC; which turned out to be too buggy to be of use.  Well Bruce doesn't give up easy, and went on a hunt for the missing list generator.  Long story a bit shorter.... Bruce was succesfull!

In this archive, you will find not only geoSpell and the word list generator, but also several lists of words Bruce created.  There is a readme text file with additional information on the two disk set called "Sears1" & "Sears2".

Wait!... that's not all!  In addition too geoSpell, the word list generator and a bunch of lists, you will also find NOT 1... BUT 2! additional programs by J.E. Sears.  I have posted both of these programs, Click the SUBJECT and geoCinquain seperately because I can only get so many screenshots in a single post.  Thank you Bruce for taking the time to hunt down the list generator and additional programs.

Lastly - There is a secret game inside of geoSpell that I haven't mentioned or included screenshots of.  It doesn't have anything to do with spelling, but is just as entertaining, maybe you can find it also.

zip3 geoSpeller

geoSpeller v1.0 by J.E. Sears (Dated July 4th, 1996) - Found this nice spelling game that works kind of like flash cards, but unfortunately it wants you to choose a word list which I don't have.  I tried create a list of words using geoWrite, but it doesn't even see that type of file when the open file dialogue box appears.  If you know anything about this game, or where I might find documentation, it would be greatly appreciated.
