Chameleon by David Darus & Louis Wallace 1985. This has to be one of the nicest graphics viewers I have run across. This came from the May 1986 PCUG user group monthly disk. I would love to find out more about this program. There is what appears to be a ML portion of the program on the disk that needs to be loaded, but the BASIC portion of the code seems to run stand alone also. Email me if you have any extra info.

Cslide 5 by Marc Moorcroft is a picture slide show program for displaying CBM pictures. I'm not sure what formats it works with.

Doodle Slideshow by Richard G. Wilmoth, Wayne R. Schmidt and Anthony Manso.  This neat little graphics viewer lets you not only continually display Doodle graphics images in a slideshow, it also lets you print them out up to 2X in size.

GEOVIEWER by Siamak For C64 - This program allows you to view/print GEOPAINT files without GEOS. It works with both straight GEOPAINT files and converted GEOPAINT files. The program is menu driven and easy to use.

Note for those unfamiliar with GEOPAINT files: These files have a format which is similar to, but not quite like, a relative file. They can not be copied (without GEOS) or transmitted via a modem. Converted files on the other hand, look like regular Commodore files, either SEQ or PRG type. They contain all the information of the original GEOPAINT file. For the purpose of using with this program, the converted files need not be changed back to GEOPAINT format.

By John R. Wind. This program reads in a GIF file and converts it to a Koala file. When typing in the picture name, don't add the .gif to the filename. Sample GIF is on the disk.

GIF Viewer V2.1 by David Jansen is one of the best freeware gif 87a viewers for the C64.  If a gif file was not created from a Commodore C64 or C128 graphic, often few colors are displayed.  The commercial program GoDot for the C64 has a gif decoder that often displays more than 3 times the number of colors than GIF Viewer V2.1 for the same gif file.  The main advantage of GIF Viewer over GoDot is it views interlaced gif files.  GoDot can view non-interlaced gif 87a and gif 89a files.  The patched version +VGIF64 can view both gif 87a and gif 89a files.  The files viewed can be saved as either Koala format files or Doodle format files.

Giffy C64 v2.1 was written by John R. Wind and is a gif graphic file viewer for the Commodore 64.  John has written several versions of his gif viewer but this is the only one I've found so far with a version number.

Released on July 23rd, 1988 by Paranormal Programming. This handy little program will search a disk for koala pics and display them one after another.

Mac to 64 by Siamak Ansari is a utility for the Commodore 64 that lets you view Macpaint graphics and also print them on a Commodore 801 or 1525 printer.

Macview by Daniel Ligas is a graphics viewer for the Commodore 64 that can view MacPaint files saved in the "MacRead" or "Digi" format.  There are two sample pictures included on the disk.

Pic Displayer by Matt of TDF (Tour De Future). This program will let you load a Blazzing Paddles, Koala or Adv. Art Studio pic and save it with some text and bouncy sprites to a stand alone file. Watch the scroller for more info.

Picture Display by A. Waller (c) 1987 Datel Electronics is a graphics viewer for the following formats: Koala, Blazing Paddles, Artist 64, Advanced Art Studio & Image System.  On the disk is also Picture Convert which you can use to convert between formats.  There are instructions also included on the disk.
