This is a slick Microsoft Word template for a 5 1/4" disk sleeve.  You can edit the text for the front and it prints to the perfect size.

This is a nice little file copier that will work with a single drive and can store as much as 58k in memory per pass.

5x Catalog Pagemaker v2.0 by Jim Cooper - I really like the idea of this program.  It isn't a cataloger in the traditional sense.  Instead of creating a database of directory listings to search through, it aims to create a single printed page worth of listings, which in this case is  5 columns of 149 rows.  There are a few limitations in that you need a printer that has a compressed mode of printing and is compatible with the CBM character set.  If you don't have that, there is a fallback method of printing by converting all the filenames to straight ASCII so you can use the printers internal font.  Check out the screenshots for more detail, or read the doc file on the disk.

Broken by Joe Forster/STA on 09-07-1991 - Very similar to 1 minute copy, but this program takes a little more than 3 passes because it does a full track/sector copy.

The 64 ACCOUNTING SYSTEM by Software Design, Inc. is designed to be used on the Commodore 64 Computer. It is particularly suited for small business or home use.

64 BlazeTerm by Mark D. Rejhon is one of those gems you run across and ask yourself, why haven't I heard of this before?  This thing is amazing!  All credit for this discovery goes to Andrew Wiskow of Cottonwood / Borderline BBS fame over at http://cottonwoodbbs.dyndns.org/ .

If you've used CGTerm for calling C64 telnet BBSes, you need to give this program a try.  Although it's a DOS program, it runs PERFECT under DosBox and is super easy to use.  Fire up DosBox, when you get to a dos prompy, type "serial1=modem" hit enter then CD over to the dir you extracted BlazeTerm to and fire it up!  Andrew Wiskow has a step by step tutorial HERE.  Because of the nature of the Web, I'll also put a copy of the tutorial on this website in the Reference -> Manuals -> Software Manuals section.

64 Charsets by Mace of View, released on Feb. 26th, 1989 - Figured I'd add another program today that is basically a bunch of character sets that you can rip from memory and use in your own programs. I only took screenshots of the first few sets.  Unlike the other program "99 Charsets +" there isn't an easy way to save the characters to disk, so happy hacking.  This one is also PAL only but the character sets will still work fine for NTSC.

Released by Basement Boys Software and Written by the one and only Mike J. Henry. Great disk editor, you need it, get it, be happy!

64 POWER PACK combines three popular programs for everyday use - PowerWord for word processing, PowerCalc for spreadsheets and PowerFiler, a database program.

64 Term released in 1982 by Commodore. This has to be one of the earliest terminal programs I have seen for the commodore 64. It is only 11 blocks and written completely in ML.

This particular turbo disk loads into the 49152 memory area. I'm not positive, but I believe this was from a Compute! magazine many years ago. Lots of good stuff came from those old magazines!

6485 BBS v3.0 - So far, this is the earliest version of this particular BBS for the Commodore 64 that I've run across.

The 6485 BBS V4.4 is a 300/1200 baud BBS for a C-64, that can run with one drive and still have the following features:

* Controlled access, with up to 100 validated users having separate passwords, and no BBS files on disk.

* Single- and Multi-File transfers, (New Punter Protocol), compatible with comm-term 2.7 and up.

Note:  Version 4.4 uses the same setup as version 3.8

6485 BBS v7.0 by Bill Jackson (Ivory Joe).

64COPY is an all-purpose DOS and C64 emulator file manager, modelled after Norton Commander, and runs under the Windows DOS VDM (32-bit or lower), and in real DOS. The 64-bit editions of Windows have no DOS VDM, so you will need to install a DOS-like emulator like DOSBox. It specializes in converting and manipulating emulator files between various formats, as well as a very flexible 6502 disassembler. 64COPY does not do any communication to the 1541/71/81 floppy drives to read disks. If that is what you need, download Star Commander for that task.

64COPY is an all-in-one file converter and DOS maintainance package.  Its
intended use is to convert  the  various  files  that  exist  for  the  C64
emulators. Files like D64, D71, D81, D80, D82, DNP,  D2M,  T64,  X64,  LNX,
ARK, ARC, SDA, LBR, SPY, CPK and all the  ZipCodes  (Diskpacked,  Sixpacked
and Filepacked) can be converted to  whatever  format  you  need  for  your
favorite emulator, or for use on the  real  C64.  You  still  need  to  get
whatever emulator package you want in order to use the files  you  have  as
64COPY does not provide any emulator functionality, nor does it communicate
with any Commodore disk drive.

Written by David Tingler (c)1984. This is a mini-bbs utilizing the Punter protocol and based on Steve Punter's Term.C1.  Docs are on the disk image.

64 Exchange BBS by David Tingler, released in 1984.  This is a relatively simple BBS that went through many version in a short time.  David Tingler was not consistent in his version names and although the intro screen says version 11/21 it was also called v1.5.

64 Exchange BBS v2.0 by David Tingler - Another release of the relatively simplistic BBS program for the Commodore 64.  Many version of this program exist, but this particular archive has a bit of documentation included.

64FORTH is an implementation of the FORTH programming language. It is a super-set of fig-FORTH. It uses the Commodore file-system and has many functions that access the C64 hardware including sound and graphics. It occupies 16k of cartridge memory from $8000-BFFF and comes with a comprehensive manual.  64FORTH was written by Tom Zimmer and published by HES software in 1983.
