Vision Paint by Steven Baxter (original by Aaron Hightower).  Released July 15th, 1991.  Quite a nice C/G graphics editor for the Commodore 64.  Docs are on the disk image and there is some help built into the program also.

Vision Self Dissolving Files v1.5 - Written by Kerry Messana (1990 Vision Software Co.) - This small 12 block program for the Commodore 64 is pretty amazing.  Not only can this dissolve files with the .VSD extension, it can also create .VSD files.  It seems very similar to Lynx, but is compatible with any drive / device, including CMD HD, and SD2IEC devices.  Not sure how I missed this one over the years.

Vision Software Math is an educational package dealing with decimals, precents and fractions.

Written by Will Corley. Vitals will analyze a file on disk and give you the following info: file type, block size, number of bytes, start address, starting track & sector.

Vizawrite 64 Personal Word Processing System. Vizawrite is an English word processor, which was developed in 1983 and marketed from the company Viza.

VMB Hacker v1.0 by MetalSoft is your standard old school 800# Voice Mailbox Hacker.

VMB Hacker v2.00 by Dungeon Master was released August 17, 1990.  Back in the day this would have been a handy tool for hacking voice mailboxes.

Do you have a favorite program that requires various keyboard letters as input? A game or educational or word processor? The object of VOICE KEY is to let you command by voice instead of pressing keys! VOICE KEY will not interfere with most programs (provided they do not use random-access memory "behind" read-only memory). Load VOICE KEY. Attach VOICE MASTER to the rear joy stick port. Then train the computer to the particular command words you want to use and define the keystrokes that you want these words to enter into the computer. Then load in your favorite program and proceed to run it using either keystrokes or command words. Up to 18 words. Each
word can create up to 18 keystrokes including control characters. Complete instructions in manual. Disk is not copy protected. Special instructions for the popular "Speedscript" word processor.

Voice Key v1.0 by Covox,Inc. is a program that works in conjunction with the Voice Master hardware (Also by Covox,inc.) in order to allow you to simulate key presses in various software by using voice commands.  There is some additional software on the disk for use with SpeedScript.

1986 by Guill Grace. This terminal program was specifically designed for the Volks 6480 modem.

Created by Wayne Holness, Volksterm II for the Commodore 128 was written specifically for the Volks 6470 & 6480 modems.

Neat little vt-100 terminal program. Only 16 blocks and mostly ML. Don't think this dials out or anything, just a simple 80 column vt-100 terminal emulator.

1985 Microtechnic Solutions. Written by Joe O'Hara - not exactly a terminal program you would use for BBS calling, but works well with services like Tymnet and Telenet.

1985,1988 by Commodore Business Machines. Version 2.1 by Fred Bowen. Extensive full documentation on the disk.

Written by Louis Leff in 1987. VT100 C64 is a complete VT100 terminal emulator for the C64 written in Blazin' Forth. Docs are included on the disk. Although the screen shot looks odd, that is how the program looks when launched.

Release 12 of VTermite - Formulated by Janne Karila, 1986-87.

W-1541 is a replacement for commodoreserver.com V-1541 v1.4 that includes DOS wedge commands.  If you don't know about commodoreserver.com, I highly recommend checking it out.  It's a great service that among other things provides a virtual 1541 drive to your Commodore computer.

Wall of Sound by Bad Boy of Reflex - This is a pretty neat demo of the wide range of sound effects and music you can produce with the Commodore 64.

War Games Dialer by Matt Even. Very simple 1650 modem war dialer. Has save to disk ability.

1987 Hal-Soft by Hal Halvorson. War dialer for the 1660 modem.

War Utilities 2 released by Onyx of Coderz is a nice little war dialer along with a pager harasser. 

War-Dialer by Bill the Cat and Rob the Great! Bet you can't guess what this program does, If you don't, you probably aren't a teen from the 80's.  Sometimes I wonder how many modems (faxes?) are still out there answering in my local preifx.

WarpCopy64 is an attemp to utilize the RR-Net for high speed disk image transfer. Instead of using standard protocols like FTP or HTTP it uses it's own protocol which allows highest transfer speeds and proper error handling which makes it the perfect tool for mass transferring. It currently is the fastest way of reading/writing disk images from/to real 1541 hardware, and you don't even need any special cable or 1541 modification.

Introduction to programming using the Waterloo BASIC system as implemented on Commodore microcomputers. Simple examples are used to illustrate the basic principles. The
programming novice will be presented with an overview of the terminology; the experienced programmer will see examples of how familiar concepts are implemented in Waterloo BASIC.

Waterloo Structure BASIC for the Commodore VIC-20 is an extension to the VIC built-in BASIC. Although Waterloo BASIC is usually in cartridge format [VIC-1001 Cartridge], this version is loadable from BASIC into memory location $a000 [decimal 40960], so you'll need a 32k RAM expansion and sys40960 to kick it in.

Wav2PRG is a converter program which creates a C64 PRG file from a WAV file, which plays it.

WE128 v1.0 was written by Anthony Cogan.  Although I have this in the terminals section, honestly I have no idea what this program is really supposed to be.  It does have a built in terminal, but it seems more like a database or text editor.  Email me if you have any further info.

Weights & Measures by Charlie Brown (Updated for the Commodore 64 by Donna W. Woody) - This is a really handy tool!  Here's a short description taken from the first part of the documentation which is in the archive:

This program will replace a whole reference library on weights and measures. Menu driven and easy to use, it allows you to convert between any two weights, volumes, lengths, areas, or rates.

Do you want to know how many teaspoons are in a gallon? Now your C-64 can tell you in a flash--- every weight and measure you can think of is included in the table. WEIGHTS & MEASURES is an invaluable tool for dealing with those "important to know, but hard to remember" conversions. But some of the conversions aren't used that much anymore--- you may have to get out a dictionary to find out what some of them are!

The purpose of this book is to provide a detailed listing of the ROM contents for the Commodore 64 microcomputer.  For programmers working in assembler language, or those wanting a more complete understanding of BASIC, this should prove to be very useful.

Wheels 128 v4.4 [1571 Master] - This is a master disk for Wheels 128 v4.4 created by Paul Murdaugh.  Here is a description Paul provided on Facebook:

1571 Wheels 128 4.4 Master Disk. This image would be an excellent starting point for anyone new to wheels that has a 1571 drive. This contains the updated Toolbox that was uploaded here that can handled REU's up to 16 megs. Patched MakeSysDisk that will work from any bootable 1541/1571/1581 drives without checking master status. (For 1571 and 81 new images just create a bootable image instead of the master option). Then copy the side 2 contents to it from this image. It will then be able to make new disks as well. In fact that is how this image was created) Dashboard_128 - small application that will return control to Dashboard 128 from other desktops. All of what was on side 2 of the 1541 images is also on this disk. In a fresh never booted state.

Wheels 64 v4.4 ToolBox Update - Release 2 by Paul Murdaugh (Released February 25th, 2021) - This update adds support for a 4MB geoRAM and geoRAM clones on top of the 16MB REU support from the first release.

This is the manual for the GEOS operating system update called Wheels by Maurice Randall.  This version covers both the 64 and 128 versions.

This is a Wheels 4.4 upgrade that can be applied to Wheels 4.2.  Original source is from Facebook and can be found here.

White Lightning is a high level graphics development system for the Commodore 64. It is aimed primarily at the user who has commercial games writing in mind and has the patience to learn a sizeable new language. It is not a games designer and stunning results probably won't be produced overnight, but it does have the power and flexibility to produce software of a commercial standard (with a little perseverance!).

This is the latest firmware as of Dec 19th, 2015 for the WiFly Modem by Schema.  This is the Hayes version meaning you will need to use AT commands to configure it.

This I believe is the very first firmware ever publicly released for the WiFly Commodore modem.  It isn't very useful and has bugs, but sometimes it's neat to see how a hardware project started out.  This is the menu version that basically mean you can configure the device via menus instead of using Hayes AT commands.

Firmware 0.09 releasedVersion 0.09 has been released with the following features and bug fixes:

• Fix for issue with C64 to modem flow control
• Improved telnet detection

Hayes only:

• Can now escape to AT command mode after connecting to a host using +++.
• Guard time added to +++ (must wait 1 second before issuing +++).
• ATS2 command register for changing escape character. Default is ATS2=43 (+).
• ATM0-3 support. Does nothing but won't cause an error for BBSs that send in init string.
