UltimateTerm v2.4 by Scott Hutter & Francesco Sblendorio for the Commodore 64/128 (Released Dec. 7th, 2020) - Besides being an awesome terminal program for the 1541Ultimate II+ and Ultimate 64, there is also an IRC client called UltimateChat for both the C64 & C128 in the archive.

This version fixes a bug (Fixed by Bart Van Leeuwen) so that it works properly with the Ultimate Firmware v3.9 (1541Ultimate II+) / 1.37 (Ultimate64)

Ultra Load Plus - a 9 block fast loader.

By R.W. (Bob K7) Kober - This is an excellent utility for printing sequential text files. Can print to screen or printer in 40 / 80 columns.

Original program by R.W. Kober, version 7.0 update by Joe Kovalik. This version of Ultra Seq Print looks very similar to version 5.5 but has added support for a mouse.

Ultra-Com BBS v1.3 (Also known as UCBBS) by Pudwerx (Released 1990) - From the little research I've done, my guess is that this is a heavily modded / improved Ivory BBS.  There is a small program on the disk that goes over the BBS features both from the user's perspective and the sysops.

UltraBASIC-64 by Roy Wainwright is an extension for Commodore BASIC that adds 50 powerful commands to the Commodore 64.  Originally released by Adamsoft, it was later distributed by Abacus.  Included in the archive is a demo and two tutorials that explain many of the commands.

Ultrabyte Disk Nibbler - Found this very old version from 1984 by HCS, Inc.  Although I tested it and it seems to work fine on the .d64 I created for it, I'm also including the .g64 image of disk utilities I found this on.

Ultrabyte Disk Nibbler v6.0 was released in 1988 by Ultrabye, Inc.  This was a really good copier.  Included in the archive is also a disk of parameters.

Ultracat v2.0 by Steve Boerner (1986) for the Commodore 128, is an extensive filing system for organizing your disk library.

By N. Keith Coleman 1987. Learn how to play chords on your guitar. This program features up to 420 chords to learn.

Ultracomp 3.0 is a multifile compressor with built-in "hacking" protection written by Dennis. The compressor code itself isn't that advanced, but it doesn't require all that much memory and it merges multiple files. The compressor core was based on a reverse engineered RLE compressor done by Jedi.

Ultrafont+ v.2 is a nice 1x1 character set creator.  Lots of nice features like mirror and rotate and completely controlled by the keyboard.

Compute!s book "The Complete 64" has a really nice chapter on this editor.

UltrafontPC is an application to assist in designing hires character sets for the Commodore 64. This Windows application is inspired by the c64 native Ultrafont by Charles Brannon.

UltrafontPC serves as a companion piece to our CartographPC, an editor used to create maps from hires character sets.

Inside the archive are 3 versions of the program.  Standalone x86 version and an installer version for X86 and X64.

Interesting little code hacker. Has 24 carriers built-in but you can also use your own service numbers. Will do random or sequential codes. Only works with the 1670 modem.

Ultrakit - A Programmer's Toolkit by Zach Townsend (Alpha Omega, 1986) - ULTRAKIT adds nearly 30 commands to the standard Commodore Basic, for use in developing your own  programs. It includes commands for debugging BASIC programs, for listing to the printer, for altering and checking blocks of memory, as well as a fully-fledged multicolour Character Editor and Designer.

This archive contains a .TAP file instead of a .D64.  I was unable to convert it using FinalTAP because it isn't a BASIC program and has a non-standard loader.  You can easily use this in CCS64 or the VICE emulator.  Thanks to Green_Bert over at the Lemon64 forum for sharing this and the manual.

Ultraphreak III (ITT Hacker v1,1) by The Pawn and Ad Rock is you standard code finder.

March 1987 by Steve Boerner - Ultraterm is a nice C128 terminal program with a 63k buffer, drop down menus and all the features you'd want from a full featured term program.

August 1987 by Steve Boerner. Full 80 column terminal program with docs included on disk.

1988 by Steve Boerner, v3.00 release June 1, 1988. Nice 80 column term with a 61440 byte buffer and cool menu system. 1581 support, printing support, built-in petscii to ascii converter, much more.

Ultraterm 128 v3.30 is an 80 column terminal program for the Commodore 128.  If you read German, this is the term for you!

Unblitz 2 from Blitzbusters is a program for un-compiling a BASIC program compiled with Blitz!

Undar 128 is the archive decompressor used for DesTerm 3.02.  I've included all the DesTerm 3.02 .da files so you can test Undar.  I don't think I've ever seen any other program or archive other than DesTerm use this archive format.

Uni-Copy is one of the all time great file copiers by Jim Butterfield that copies all type of files including relative files.  I wasn't aware he made a Commodore 128 version that supports RAM expansion, but here it is.

Written by the famous Jim Butterfield, Unicopy 128 is the all purpose file copier. Unicopy can handle all file types including relative files. No fancy graphical interface, just whats necessary!

Found this older version of Unicopy written by the famous Jim Butterfield.  This version has support for tape drives which I believe is missing in newer versions.

Written by one of Commodore's all time greats, Jim Butterfield. Unicopy is a file copier that not only takes into consideration whether you have a wedge, monitor or linker in memory, it can also copy from disk to tape.

United States Geography 128 by Don & Matt McManamey (Released in November, 1993) is a 40 column hi-res graphics program for the Commodore 128 that will help teach you the different state locations in the U.S.A.

Note - Used DLOAD instead of LOAD for loading the program.

Universal Product Code Creator 128 by Piskac Bakery Software for the Commodore 128.  This is a unique program that lets you create and print barcode labels.

Universal Program Lister by Jim Butterfield and published by Compute! in December 1982 is a tool for all Commodore computers that can list a BASIC program to screen or printer.  Here is a quote about the program from Mr. Butterfield himself:

"There are lots of Lister type programs around. This one isn't much different, except that it is very complete. It runs very slowly; have a cup of coffee
while it's running."

Generic C64 prg unpacker, original idea and code from Exomizer by Magnus Lind.

The idea is simple: to simulate the C64 memory/processor, run the program until it reaches the unpack routine, usually relocated to an address lower than $0800, then to continue execution until the Program Counter returns to a normal address usually higher than $0800. At this point, save all the memory.  I normally do this process in emulators by setting breakpoints but an automatic program that does it for me is handy.  PUCrunch and Exomizer 2.0Beta7 already have their own decrunch commands.  This program should cover those 2 and almost all the remaining ones.

Unscratch is a simple utility that lets you recover deleted files.

Written by Rick Kephart and released on September 6th, 1989. Unsplatter will fix files that weren't properly closed and have an * in the directory.

UNZIP128/64  is a stand alone 128/64 utility that allows you to unzip PKZIP  V1.xx  archives. UNZIP128 runs in either 40 or 80 columns, and UNZIP.64  runs  in 40 columns. Both versions have all the features of the  original  UNZIP64,  with the added support of a Dos command line (wedges)  and  CMD drive (Ramlink, Ramdrive, Hard drive, FDx000) path support.  To  use  UNZIP128/64 just load and run it as a normal basic program,  even  though  it  is  machine language program with a basic header.

NOTE: Disk image contains both the C64 and C128 programs.

Unzip128 v2.13 is a  decompressors compatible with files created by PKZIP v2.04g & equivalent programs, as well as gzip (GNU zip). It will decompress deflated (and stored) files on a stock Commodore 128.

Unzip64 by Bill Lucier will dissolve pkzip 1.10 files on the commodore 64. If you attempt to dissolve a file that was deflated it will just skip over it.  This must have been the first version because it had no version number and later version did.

Unzip64v2 & Unzip128v2 are decompressors compatible with files created by PKZIP v2.04g & equivalent programs, as well as gzip (GNU zip). They will decompress deflated (and stored) files on a stock commodore 64 or 128 (respectively).
