Two Drive 1541 - from the Transactor, 9/85. Most commands for device #8, drive #1 are re-directed to device #9 by this small ml routine located in the cassette buffer.

TXT64 by Sven-Olaf Scholz, released 03-1994.  This is a set of two utilities that can convert a Commodore 64 BASIC v2 program to a standard ASCII TXT file and the other way around.  Docs are included in the archive.

Type Attack (1982 Sirius) - I don't post games very often because you can find them anywhere, but when I see a game that has some educational or skill building attributes, especially for younger people, I like to give those attention.  Type Attack is kind of like Space Invaders, but there are several modes.  In one mode you have to see how fast you can clear the board by pressing keys corresponding to characters on the screen.  In another mode you have to type out words as they scroll across the screen before they reach the other side.  There is a third mode, but I'm not going to tell you what it is, you'll have to play yourself to find out. 

Typing Practice by Steven Darnold is a simple but effective way to learn how to positional type on your Commodore 64.

Tyronpaint v2.1 - Written by LynchBit of [LD] in 1996/97 and Improved by TLR in 2006.  Some clain this to be the ultimate C/G editor, not so sure about that, but probably worth a try.

U-1541 v1.10 is a collection of some really great file / disk utilities all written by Will Corley.

U64 Run by TTL is a neat little command line program you can use from a Windows shell to load and run a program on the Ultimate64 (Gideon).

Ex. - c:> u64run.exe 192.168.1.64 test.prg

U64 Streamer v1.2 by M.F. Wieland is a Windows utilitiy that can accept an audio and / or video stream from the Ultimate 64 (Commodore 64 FPGA) and capture screens or video from the stream.

This is a nice manual / user guide to all the available configuration commands for the uIEC/SD.

These fake ROMs let the uIEC/SD emulate a CMD Hard Drive (.dnp) or CMD Floppy Drive.  This is very handy for creating a hard drive bootable GEOS.

Programmed by Bill The Cat. It appears this terminal program was written to possibly accompany a BBS program because the author also ran a BBS called Ultima The BBS, go figure. Thanks Moloch for providing this version.

This is an older version of Ultima The Term, but because the author (Bill The Cat) apparently doesn't use version numbers I am guessing at it's age based on the in program credits and different command key menu.

Inthis archive are two Doc files.  One is in program form and is all the Spells and components needed for Ultimata V, and the other is the walkthru / solution for Ultima V.  There is also a file reader program for viewing the text based walk thru

Note for the Ultimate 64:You will need a kernel, basic and character rom after the upgrade. These roms are not included in the update. These roms are distributed with vice-emu, but you can also find them on zimmermans.net.

For instance, you could use these roms: 901225-01.bin (char), 901226.bin (basic) and 901227-03.bin (kernal). Roms with the .rom extension should also work.

Apparently the version numbers are hex and not decimal.

Freshness released a new program for the 1541 Ultimate. The program can be used for playing audio MOD files with your 1541 Ultimate. The MOD file system was developed by Karsten Obarski in 1987 for tracker software on the Amiga computer.

Command Interface Reference v1.0 (2013) by Gideon Zweijtzer - Although the title suggests this is only for the Ultimate II, this document is also valid for the Ultimate II+ and Ultimate 64.  Here is the overview as quoted from the document:

The ‘Ultimate-II command interface’feature is a new feature for the 1541 Ultimate-II module. It implements a way to communicate to the 1541 Ultimate-II programmatically from the Commodore 64, through the cartridge port I/O registers.

The‘Ultimate-II command interface’is the communication layer between the C64 on one side and functional modules of the 1541 Ultimate-II on the other side. Such a functional module takes a command, and returns data and status back to the user program on the C64.

Ultimate NLQ v1.0 by Marc F. Brouillette (July 1990) for GEOS 64 / 128 - It amazes me the length to which people went to get good (better?) looking printouts from dot-matrix printers.  I never really had a chance to play with printers until the early 90's, and by then I had a HP LaserJet IIp Plus and it looked great at 300dpi.  Anyway, I always loved the sound of a dot-matrix printer, kind-of like I always thought gasoline smelled great (tmi?), so anytime I find a reason to print with my ever growing collection of dot-matrix printers I jump at it, and this neat utility is a good reason.  Basically you can take a geoWrite document and print it with this program, making up to four-passes per line to get some nice dark printouts.  I don't really do justice to what this utility can do, so please read the included geoWrite documentation file included in the archive.

Ultimate Opus is a utility for the Ultimate cartridge or Ultimate 64 that lets you manage files either on USB or SD card.

Ultimate Term v2.3 by Scott Hutter & Francesco Sblendorio is a telnet terminal program for calling a PETSCII / ASCII BBS over the internet.  This program requires either an Ultimate 64 or 1541 Ultimate II+ as it needs ethernet.

The Ultimate Tools 2.0 is two programs that can be used for aiding in the typing in of programs from the Compute! and RUN magazines.  Not really sure if anyone still does that, but if you do, then you will want to use one of these programs to help you catch typing mistakes and speed up the whole process.
