Big Blue Reader 128 v3.1 expands the original Big Blue Reader concept by taking advantage of the Commodore 128’s extra memory, faster operation, and improved hardware support to better handle MS-DOS disks and cross-platform file transfers. It was aimed at users who still relied on Commodore systems but needed to exchange documents, data, and text files with the rapidly growing PC ecosystem. For many C128 owners, it became one of the most useful productivity utilities available, helping keep the machine relevant in homes, schools, and offices during the PC era.
