Archon II: Adept Ma Archon II: Adept Manual

Archon II: Adept on the Commodore 64 is a fantasy strategy/action hybrid where two opposing sorcerer factions—Order and Chaos—battle for control of a 5×9 elemental arena made of Air, Earth, Fire, and Water. Instead of chess-like pieces, each side has a set of “adepts” who can summon different creatures depending on which elemental square they occupy, then move those creatures around the board to claim power points or challenge enemy units. When units meet, the game shifts into a real-time, one-on-one arena where you directly control your chosen creature—like phoenixes, kraken, golems, or wraiths—dodging spells and projectiles specific to that battlefield’s element. Victory comes from capturing all power points, slaying all opposing adepts, or sometimes summoning a devastating “icon” creature, making Archon II a more complex, magical, and terrain-focused evolution of the original Archon.
