PRESIDENT-ELECT is a computer simulation of a presidential campaign from Labor Day to Election Night. The game can be played by up to three players. each assuming the role of campaign manager/candidate. The game proceeds through nine weekly turns, in which the players must decide how to allocate campaign  funds. Weekly polls are provided to give the players a rough idea of how they are doing, and to help them determine where to concentrate their campaigning efforts. Candidates may elect to take a trip to a foreign country or may agree to debate their opponents. At the end of the campaign, election returns come in on a minute-tominute basis until a winner is determined.
