PRESIDENT ELECT is a computer simulation of a presidential campaign from Labor Day to Election Night. The game can be played by up to three players, each assuming the role of campaign manager/candidate. The game pro ceeds through nine weekly turns, in which the players decide where and how to concentrate their campaign efforts. Weekly polls are provided to give the players a rough idea of how they are doing, and to help them deter mine where to concentrate their cam paigning efforts. Candidates may elect to take a trip to a foreign country or may agree to debate their opponents. At the end of the campaign, election returns come in on a minute-to-minute basis until a winner is determined.
