Big Blue Reader 64 v2.0 is a practical crossover utility for the Commodore 64 designed to bridge the gap between Commodore and IBM-compatible PCs at a time when the two systems used incompatible disk formats. With the proper hardware setup, it could access MS-DOS formatted disks, allowing users to transfer text files, data, and some software between platforms. For many users in the late 1980s and early 1990s, it was an essential tool for sharing files with the growing PC world and extending the usefulness of the C64 in mixed-computer environments.
This version of BBR was imaged with Nibtools and converted to a .G64. Thanks to Edward T. for providing the software.
