Xetec's Graphics Printer Interface (GPI ) is designed to allow the Commodore VIC 20 or C-64 to print with any parallel printer that is Centronics compatible. It is primarily intended as a substitute for the Commodore
1525 printer, and therefore can be configured to make your printer work just the same. It has special functions , however, which the 1525 cannot perform. If you plan to make use of these features, a thorough reading of this manual is suggested. Otherwise, a skim will probably get you up and running.
