This manual is arranged so that it begins with the simpler features of BC BASIC, and then progresses to more complex ones. To get the most from BC BASIC, work through the manual, trying out the examples and  programs of your own so that you can see for yourself how each command or function works. At the end of each chapter, you may like to try to write some programs using what you have learnt so far. You may be quite surprised by the standard of programs you will be writing after a short while. Even advanced programmers are advised to read throuqh the chapters in sequence, as later chapters will refer to commands and functions explained earlier on.
