Sherlock Manual [Altern Sherlock Manual [Alternate]

Sherlock on the Commodore 64 is a text (with some graphics) detective adventure published by Melbourne House, released for the C64 in 1985 after an earlier 1984 ZX Spectrum version, and developed by Beam Software under Philip Mitchell. You play as Sherlock Holmes with Watson at your side, interrogating characters and piecing together clues to solve a double murder in Leatherhead, with NPC reactions that can change based on what they know. Often viewed as a thematic successor to The Hobbit’s style of parser-driven storytelling, it leans on careful observation, conversation, and methodical deduction rather than action, aiming to capture the feel of classic Holmes investigation on 8-bit hardware.
