Rush’n Attack (the U.S. title for Green Beret) on the Commodore 64 is a brutal side-scrolling action game where you’re a lone commando storming enemy bases armed with nothing but a knife and whatever limited heavy weapons you can grab from fallen soldiers. You sprint across military compounds, bridges, and missile sites, stabbing waves of infantry, dodging bullets and grenades, and occasionally picking up single-use rocket launchers or flamethrowers to clear tougher foes. One hit kills you, levels are on a strict timer, and enemies just keep coming, so it’s all about pattern learning, tight timing, and inching a little farther with each run in classic arcade “one more try” fashion.
