Roguebot on the Commodore 64 is a 2023 deck-building roguelike dungeon crawler where you remotely guide a lone robot probe through randomly generated levels using “punch-card” command cards. Each turn you pick from a hand of movement, attack, and utility cards—turning, stepping, firing, shielding, manipulating doors, and so on—then watch as the queued sequence plays out against roaming enemies and environmental hazards, with your position, status, and next card choices shown on a split screen. As you descend, you acquire and upgrade over 50 different cards, face 16 enemy types, and rely on autosaves at the start of each floor, making it a slow-burn, highly tactical blend of board-game planning, deck management, and classic roguelike risk on real C64 hardware.
