Curse of the Azure Bonds on the Commodore 64 is a Gold Box AD&D RPG and sequel to Pool of Radiance, where your veteran party awakens branded with five magical “azure bonds” that let various evil factions control you—and your main quest is to hunt down each group and shatter its bond. You explore towns, wilderness, and dungeons in first-person, then shift to the familiar top-down, turn-based tactical battles against assassins, clerics, wyverns, beholders, and other D&D nasties, now with higher levels, stronger spells, and tougher magical gear than in the first game. Set across the Dragon Coast in the Forgotten Realms, it keeps character import, alignment and deity choices, and plenty of side quests, making it a more combat-heavy, high-powered continuation of your party’s saga.
