I found a tool called XLoader that simplifies the process of uploading new firmware code to the MicroView (or any Arduino, for that matter.) You can get it here: russemotto.com/xloader/Now to program: - With the C64 power off, gently remove the MicroView from the Wi-Fi Modem.
- Insert the MicroView into the USB Programmer, then plug the Programmer into a free USB port like so:

- Run XLoader.exe and point it to the HEX file. Select the COM Port assigned to the USB Programmer, and ensure the Device is set to Uno(ATMega328).

- Press Upload. You will see the lights on the Programmer flash for several seconds, followed by a report of bytes uploaded.
- Unplug the Programmer from the USB Port.
- Unplug the MicroView from the Programmer, and replace it in the Wi-Fi Modem.
